Walking Course

Here are five walking courses, as recommended by Takatsuki City Tourist Association.
Please enjoy yourselves and take care as you walk!
AValley Path Course
Total length : 3.1km

A walking course along the Settsu-kyo gorge. Gentle slopes (both upward and downward) make this suitable for children and older walkers. There is a view of a strange-shaped rock as you walk along. Shirataki waterfall is 5 minuts walk from point. Please have a look at it.

BMountain Forest Course
Total length : 3.8km
( Point - Point:1.7km )

A walking course through areas of rich natural forest, such as Momijji-dani valley and Kunugi-dani valley. You will also find Shirataki waterfall which is an especially popular spot in Settsu-kyo and an observation deck on this course.

CSkyline Hiking Course
Total length : 4.0km
(Point - Point:1.0km)

A walking course which follows the ridge line through the Settsu-kyo camping area. If you want to enjoy a second observation deck you can walk down to the observation deck on Course B from point. Please be aware that there are some steep steps from point to the campsite office.

DEight Scenic Spots of Hara Course
Total length : 5.0km

A walking course visiting Yasaka-Jinja shrine and Kabusan-ji temple, with a stroll through the village in the Hara area next to Settsu-kyo Park.

ENature Trail Course
Total length : 9.2km
( Point - Point : 6.3km )

A long course walking along a section of the Tokai Nature Trail. On clear days when the sunlight is filtering down through the trees onto the forest paths you can enjoy bird watching and forest bathing. Please be aware that there are some steep steps from point to point .
